EXPERIENTAL LEARNING PLT (Registration No. 201504002827 (LLP0006605-LGN)), which you may know as “FLIP” (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”) connects students with leading industries to offer valuable hands-on internship experience and guide students in making informed career choices. We place great importance on safeguarding your privacy and are dedicated to ensuring its protection.
This Privacy Notice is prepared in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) and prescribes how we, as the data controller, collect and handle your personal data. If you provide us with personal data belonging to another person in relation to our services, we trust that you have secured their consent beforehand. By sharing such data with us, we assume that the individual has consented to the disclosure and that such disclosure complies with the PDPA requirements.
To fully access and utilise the features and services available on our platform, the collection of certain personal data is necessary. Under the PDPA, sensitive personal data refers to information about your physical or mental health, political opinions, religious beliefs or similar convictions, any offence or alleged offence involving you, your biometric data or any other personal data designated by the Minister through an order published in the Gazette. In the event we collect your sensitive personal data, you explicitly consent to its collection and processing in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Notice.

We may collect your data directly, through our authorised representatives or through any publicly available sources, including but not limited to when you or in the case of a student, when your parent or your institute:

(4) Purpose of Collecting Data
We collect personal data only to the extent necessary or relevant for the purposes of your interactions or engagements with us, including but not limited to processing your registrations, tailoring the suitable internship arrangements for you, addressing your feedback, inquiries, or complaints, verifying and updating your information, complying with any legal obligations, using the relevant personal data (i.e., testimonials) on our social media platforms, and carrying out any activities necessary or incidental to the aforementioned purposes.
(5) Disclosure of Collected Data
We disclose personal data that we collected only to our employees, third-party contractors, professional advisors, affiliated organizations, participating organizations for the purposes of the internship placement, and regulatory or government authorities who require access on a need-to-know basis to perform tasks on our behalf or to facilitate the delivery of our and services. Such parties are bound by similar confidentiality undertakings to protect your personal data. As some of these entities may be located outside of your home country, your continued usage of our product(s) or engagement of our service(s) shall be deemed as your consent to the transfer of your personal data to these entities.
Beyond the aforementioned disclosures, we will only disclose all or any collected personal data when required by a subpoena, court order, or regulatory request, or if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect our rights, property, the safety of others, or the public interest.
